How do quotes and callouts work?
Straightforward jobs can often be assessed from photos or a call; complex sites may need a visit. We can start with an initial guide, then refine the scope together. We confirm a written scope and quote before booking the work. Any callout or travel fee is confirmed before a visit.
Can you install equipment I have already purchased, or quote on supply only?
Yes. We can quote on supply and installation, installation only or supply only. New projects, upgrades and equipment you already own are welcome. We check the model, site requirements and scope before confirming the work.
Can you help with a eufy camera or Reolink system I've already bought?
Send your eufy Security camera or Reolink model details. We'll check mounting, power, connectivity and setup requirements for your property before quoting.
Should I choose a solar security camera or a wired security camera?
It depends on placement, cable access and recording needs. Send the proposed locations and model details so we can assess power, connectivity and mounting before quoting.
Can you assess a doorbell camera installation?
Yes. Send us a photo of the entrance and the model you're considering, such as a Ring doorbell, Google Nest, or eufy device. We'll check mounting, power, and network requirements and confirm the work needed before booking.
What brands do you install, and are you tied to any of them?
We're vendor-neutral and don't have exclusive supply arrangements with any single brand. We work with most major manufacturers, including eufy Security, Reolink, Ring, Google Nest, Hikvision, HiLook, Dahua, Ubiquiti UniFi Protect, TVT, and more. We pick equipment that fits your site, your budget, and any preferences you already have.
What is structured cabling and do I need it?
Structured cabling connects fixed devices to a central switch or patch panel using tested CAT6 or CAT6A Ethernet runs. It suits workstations, cameras, TVs and access points that need a stable wired connection.
Do you work on commercial sites as well as homes?
Yes. We work across residential, retail, hospitality, warehouse, office, and small-industrial sites, from single-AP Wi-Fi setups through to multi-AP roaming networks, full CCTV systems, and structured cabling. Get in touch with project details and we'll come back with a tailored quote.
